American Tower is hosting a tower tour for attendees, providing a firsthand look at how a shared tower communications site functions within a community. Educational topics, including equipment installations, safety requirements, and the operational benefits of utilizing existing tower assets through collocation, rather than constructing new sites, will be discussed during the informative tour.
Participants will gain insight into the equipment and features, such as backup power systems, data facilities, and secure access points, that may be available at a tower site. These insights help to illustrate how existing shared infrastructure can support network reliability and resilience.
Please note: this tour is limited to 20 participants and will be conducted outside at an active tower site. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Hard hats will be provided on-site and must be worn at all times within the tower compound.
No photography permitted at this location.
This event is an informational activity open to all attendees. If you are a government employee, please consult your relevant ethics official for pre-clearance prior to attending or if you have questions regarding your attendance at this event.
