RGV9-1-1 Mobile PSAP
Booth # 2852
RGV9-1-1 is showcasing the Multi-Agency Communications Center (MACC), a first-of-its-kind mobile 9-1-1 call center in the Rio Grande Valley designed to keep emergency communications operating during disasters, major incidents, and service disruptions. Equipped with six call-taking stations and Next Generation 9-1-1 technology, the MACC can support Police, Fire, and EMS operations from a single location while routing calls quickly and accurately to the appropriate agency.
The unit can be deployed in less than 12 hours if a local 9-1-1 center is impacted by severe weather, power outages, or other emergencies. With real-time mapping and situational awareness tools, it helps maintain continuity of 9-1-1 services and strengthens coordination among responding agencies across the region.
